The Song Meter Mini, Mini Bat, and Micro families of recorders use a scheduling system that is very similar to the daily schedule mode on the SM4 series, but with additional capabilities. Schedules are built from blocks that repeat daily, defined by a start time, end time, and an optional duty cycle to follow in-between.

Additionally, each schedule block can be set to only run within a given date range, and/or to cycle between running or not according to a Day Duty Cycle.

If you’re accustomed to the Song Meter SM3 family’s schedule system or the Song Meter SM4 family’s advanced schedule mode, the schedule system used by the Song Meter Mini, Mini Bat, and Micro families allows for almost the same level of flexibility while being much easier to use.
